These design are based on activities in nursing homes to train elderly’s memories, skills and mental health. These activities need support of furnitures and interior accessories that consider elderly’s ergonomic and anthropometry so the elderly could move easily and comfortably. The concept of these design is “Jalinan Lekuk Kenangan” which applies characteristics of Memphis style to create nostalgic impression of 80s, the youth age of the elderly. The combination of geometric shapes and bright colors as 80s typical style are applied to natural rattan material, which was also popular in the 80s and could create relaxation vibe.
