Art and creativity are things that cannot be separated from children, they need it as a means for them to grow and develop. To meet the needs for art and creativity for children in Jakarta, an interior design for children’s arts and creativity center is needed. Using the application of Betawi culture exploration which resulted in the design concept of Ekspresi Manggar Berayun, that aims to create a physical environment that can encourage children’s potential in art and creativity. This concept depicts cheerfulness, which is symbolized by the dynamic, blooming, spreading, and swaying forms of the Ondel-ondel Manggar elements. Taking bright colors based on the characteristics of the Ondel-ondel color. Using bamboo material which symbolizes the smooth, flexible, and light characteristics of swinging, as well as the main material for making Ondel-ondel frames.
