Art therapy helps children with autism express themselves non-verbally through art and enhances their motor and sensory development. This design has a design statement, Bulir Rupa Nakia. The word ‘Bulir’ represents every child with autism who has a different spectrum, ‘Rupa’ represents the diversity of children with autism in communicating through art, and ‘Nakia’ means every expression shown by a child with autism is purely what it is. The concept of this design form simplifies basic geometric shapes from the inspiration of the shape of the figure from ‘Bulir Rupa Nakia’ which is implemented in interior elements.
